Plain-English summary of what funAItrip collects, what it doesn’t, and what you can do about it.
What we collect
- Your account email (for sign-in and account recovery).
- Profile info you give us — handle, display name, bio, city label, intents, photos, age range preferences.
- Approximate location — only used to surface nearby places and people. We never store or display your exact GPS coordinates to other users.
- Saved places and routes you bookmark from /places.
- Reports you file and reports filed about you. These are stored so our team can review them.
- Messages you send in matched conversations. We use limited automated safety checks for spam, scams, abuse, rate limits, and reports; we do not use private messages to power product recommendations or advertising.
- Device and session metadata (browser, IP at sign-in, a session cookie) — used for security and abuse prevention.
What we do not collect
We don’t sell your data. We don’t use your location to power third-party ads. We don’t share your exact coordinates with other users — not in messages, not on profiles, not in discovery.
Message safety
Private messages are only scanned for safety and moderation purposes, such as scam/spam links, abusive language, repeated messages, contact-info abuse, and user reports. These signals are kept for admin review and are not used for recommendations or other product features.
Your rights
- Delete your account. Go to /settings → Delete account. Your profile becomes invisible immediately and your data is queued for deletion.
- Request a data export. Email privacy@funaitrip.example with your account email and we’ll send a copy.
- Contact support. For anything else, email privacy@funaitrip.example. This is a placeholder address during development.
Children
funAItrip is not for anyone under 18. If you suspect a minor is using social features, report the account from the profile card or email privacy@funaitrip.example.
Changes
We will update this page when material changes ship. The current version is a development draft and will be reviewed by legal counsel before launch.
